Ever dream of sloshing around in the muck of a NYC street post blizzard? Well dream no more!
Own a little piece of winter in Manhattan without needing to be here!
This photograph was just taken! It's less than ten
minutes old!
I was on the way home from Trader Joe's where the shelves were newly restocked (they were bare for two days due to the blizzard).
I bought tabbouleh, chocolate croissants, cold brew concentrate and organic frozen peas.
Walking the four blocks back home and listening to Celine Dion's "Because You Love Me" I had a brainstorm: it'd be great to give others a sense of the beauty of Greenwich Village post-storm, where the streets are white and black and somewhere in between, which is slush-filled.
So I began composing a series of images.
Here's the first up: a powerful image of Manhattan slush, with tire treads. Taken between Van dam and King Streets on 6th Avenue.
This is a limited series. 10 printed photos. All 8x10.
The word slush will be removed before printing. Or I can leave it as a watermark, up to you.
