6 Vintage 1940s Mutoscope Arcade Cards Red Tint Pin-Up Art Nudes I.M.R. Co. Lot:
$120.00

Six original penny-arcade exhibit cards from the International Mutoscope Reel Co. of New York.

Circa 1940s or Earlier

3 /14 x 5 1/4 inches each

Each carries the "I.M.R. Co. N.Y. – Made in U.S.A." imprint. Titles: Neptune's Daughter, Dance of the Castanets, Belle of the Tango, Youth, Carnival Spirit and Ornamental.

These are classic figure studies printed in a rich red monotone. Arcade machines sold them one card at a time for a penny, so a matched group in this tint is the kind of set collectors build slowly. They show the polished Art Deco studio style that bridged burlesque glamour and the 1940s pin-up.

Condition is Excellent
