2 US Army Indian War Spanish American War M1878 CanteenCrossed Rifles Co D 14 37. Lot of 2 ORIGINAL Indian Wars/ Spanish American War era canteens. One is marked US and has some writing on the back- I can make out the word “ Infantry”. This one the threads have come undone (its not actually ripped) and it could be sewn back together. The other one has crossed rifles with the letter D and numbers 14 and 37. Both covers have some staining, both canteens have some small dents here and there. One has a strap the other doesn’t.
