2 1-Sided 1909 HUDSON-FULTON CELEBRATION / EXPOSITION OFFICIAL MEDAL Lot - Rare For Sale

2, 1-sided 1909 HUDSON-FULTON CELEBRATION / EXPOSITION OFFICIAL MEDALS, patinated bronze, designed by Emil Fuchs, the American Numismatic Society. Mounted on the original black-painted wooden board bearing its original printed label to verso indicating issued through the New York State Education Department to the Colleges and Secondary Schools, 1909. 4" Diameter medals, 12" x 7" OA. The backs are blank (!) and attached to the wood board by a screw (see photo). I'd assume these were cast specifically for this display piece and could be quite rare(?)
