Genuine US 1978-contract RDF Hot Weather Uniform (HWU) trousers in the NLABS-2 "transitional" leaf camouflage – the pattern that bridged Vietnam-era jungle kit and the 1981 Woodland BDU, issued to the Rapid Deployment Force. Contract DLA100-78-C-0891, Watauga Apparel Corp; 100% cotton ripstop. Notable factory oddity: the right cargo pocket is cut from older ERDL camo stock while the rest of the trousers are NLABS-2, the kind of detail collectors of this line hunt for.
