1965 Vietnam War U.S. Army GTA 5-10-10 Mine Card Landmine Field Manual ORIGINAL:
$29.95

Original Vietnam War-era U.S. Army GTA 5-10-10 MINE CARD dated July 1965.
This is an especially interesting piece of Cold War/Vietnam-era U.S. Army combat engineer ephemera. Rather than a conventional bound manual, GTA 5-10-10 was produced as a compact folding graphic training aid that could provide soldiers with a large amount of mine-warfare information in a portable format.
The card unfolds to reveal numerous illustrated panels covering U.S. military mines and related equipment, including antitank and antipersonnel mines, fuzes, installation procedures, minefield marking, minefield layout and record keeping.
Examples illustrated include the M21 antitank mine, M14 antipersonnel mine, M25 antipersonnel mine, M23/M1 chemical land mines and other mine and firing systems.
Of particular interest, this example contains handwritten period calculations/entries on the minefield record portion, giving the piece the character of an actually used military training/reference item rather than an untouched surplus copy.
