1941 WWII 21st Infantry Regiment Gimlet Pin Up Girls Cartoons More Pearl Harbor For Sale

A 1941 issue of the Gimlet Magazine, published by the 21st Infantry Division stationed in Hawaii. This issue is filled with cartoons, several of them pin up style. There are also several newspaper clippings on the 21st laid in. About 8 1/2" x 11", 18 pages, nicely illustrated, softcover with staple binding.
In just a few months, these men on happy Hawaii duty thinking about pretty girls were attacked by the Japanese and were among the first few US forces to engage in that combat.
Good condition with mild overall toning from age. The newspaper clippings have stained the facing pages. The binding and spine are tight. A nice copy that displays really well and is a great read besides.
