Vintage 1939 New York World’s Fair era Globe Clock Co. baseball/ball pendulum clock, model 6646.

Distinctive Art Deco design featuring a spherical gold-tone clock suspended between two decorative columns with a long pendulum below. The spherical clock face features raised numerals and metal hands.

The underside of the base is marked with the Globe Clock Co. “GCC” logo, DES. PAT. 99,999 and model number 6646. Comparable documented examples identify this design as a 1939 New York World’s Fair-era Globe Clock Co. novelty clock.

The clock retains a great untouched vintage appearance with substantial original paint loss and chipping throughout the cream-colored base and columns. The gold-tone spherical clock body also shows significant finish loss, wear, scratches and patina consistent with age.

The pendulum is present as pictured. No winding key is included. The clock has not been tested and functionality is unknown. It is being sold as-is in its current condition.

Approximately 9.5–10 inches tall.
