Beautiful 1930s vintage white milk glass cosmetic jar featuring a distinctive beehive/ribbed design with raised horizontal rings around the upper and lower portions.
This style of opaque milk glass container was commonly used during the early-to-mid 20th century for cold cream, face cream, lotions, cosmetics, and other toiletry products. The threaded neck would originally have held a screw-on lid.
The bottom is embossed with the number “16,” believed to be a mold/cavity identification number from the manufacturing process.
