Up for sale is a vintage mid-century United States Navy Officer Combination Cap in fair, "as-is" condition. This is the lightweight "Stratosphere Weight" model tailored by the prominent military manufacturer Wolf-Brown (marked Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego).

This piece features excellent historical character and is named to "Lt. S.C. Swan" on the internal tag.

Condition Details (Selling As-Is):

• Insignia & Visor: The front silver and gold officer cap device is intact. The black visor and mohair band are structurally solid.

• Interior Leather: The brown leather sweatband is completely detached from the frame along the back half due to broken/failed stitching. The clear celluloid sweat shield over the maker's logo is intact but shows amber age-toning and crinkling.

• White Cover: The top cover has visible light yellowing, smudging, and shelf dust from storage (mainly along the edges). There are no rips, tears, or holes in the fabric.
