Vtg 1955 Pittsburgh & Lake Erie Railroad Stock Certificate Stamps 17.5x13.5:

At well & co. 15 trip certificate provided and stamped by Mellon National Bank and Trust signed and stamped by treasurer of this bank

Additional stamp marked “cancelled” by people’s first bank &trust Pittsburgh. This stamp is tipped with another signature

Beneath are the stamps - 20 stamps in total, most of them are stamped, 3 are clearly unmarked . The grouping is entitled “a glimpse of the past through the Railroad Collection”

Stamp section has copyright dated 1997 Jack Rabbit Studio Durango Colorado and is signed “jack” and numbered #250. On backside there is an additional stamp from same studio entitled “Stamp Art”

Also on rear is a written narrative from and about the history of stamps and their existence within the National Philatelic Collection from Smithsonian institute. This descriptor as well as the stamp section being numbered indicates probable copyrighted print series.

I am not as certain of the top certificate as that could very well be original

Piece has a custom green mat which houses the two pieces, frames in guided gold wood frame and measures 17.5x13.5x1”
