Vintage Keeney\'s Paducah Kentucky Scenes Sabin 22kt Rim Crest-O-Gold Plate For Sale

-Good Condition. No chips, cracks or crazing. Under a strong light, I can see a couple of places on the front where there is a scratch of missing gold, very tiny. The mulberry purple design is bright and intact. The gold decorative design is intact but there is an area of glazed over tiny marks on the upper left. The gold rim has a rough edge where gold is missing on the bottom right edge. This is a small area and is not visible from the front.
- This plate is marked on the back \"Keeney\'s\" and \"Paducah, Kentucky\". This is likely the merchant that sold the plate. I have another plate nearly identical to this one for Tennessee and it is clearly marked \"Sabin Crest-O-Gold\". They also made this one.
- A previous owner helpfully marked the back of the plate with \"1- -\'54\" in nail polish. It can be removed with nail polish, as I safely did that to another plate they put their initials on. I will leave this date mark on this plate for the next owner to remove if they wish to. It does tell us that this plate is from 1954, likely picked up during a road trip vacation that was very popular during that era.
- This plate measures 10 3/16 inches or 26.87625 cm in diameter.
- The 22kt gold band measures 1 1/4 inches or 3.175 cm wide around the outer edge of the plate.
