Vintage Harness Racing Bronze Sculpture/Trophy & Wooden Box-23 pounds-excellent For Sale

This is a Classic & Vintage Harness Racing Bronze ( Work of Art ) Sculpture/Trophy sitting on top of a Wooden Box for information storage. The side sculpture is still intact plus the brass plate in still in the box and was never engraved on. It weighs almost 23 pounds and the bronze horse and driver measure 5 inches tall X 13 inches long X 71/2 inches wide . The side sculpture measures 7 inches long X4 inches wide X 1/4 inch thick. The overall condition is excellent. All original patina on the bronze portions ( I have even left the original dust as is ). The Wooden box slides out easily and has both original pulls. The overall condition of the wood box is excellent also considering its size, age and use. Someone told me they think this was a trophy from the Terrapin Stakes, but I have not been able to verify the information. I do not believe there are many of these around as I have had trouble locating a photo of one other . Please check the photos and contact me with any questions ( or information) .
