Old Gilt-Bronze Statue of Padmasambhava, Tibet.
The gilding is very worn revealing the red gilding primer over the bronze beneath. The bronze has dark patina.
Really hard to know about the age of such statues. China turns out many thousands a year and all (in the main) copy traditional Tibetan iconographic details so I am saying \'vintage\' rather than \'antique\' to be on the safe side and pricing it accordingly.
It\'s a beautiful statue and the wear with its remaining gilt highlights and patina add to its beauty.
