Vintage Canvas Case US Military Surgical InstrumentKit, Minor Field Surgery

Based on the canvas case thisappears to be a Korean War era kit. Manufactured by the YALE BELT CORP. Some ofthese canvas cased kits found their way to the beginning of the Vietnam War butby 1968 they were replaced with nylon case kits. The instruments are highquality American made. They are not the cheap Chinese instruments now floodingthe U.S. market. Surgical blades and sutures were replaced with serviceableones circa 1987 per the manufacture date on the package.

Pouch is in excellent condition, norust at all on the metal snaps!

Missing one of the instruments thatis supposed to be in kit. It appears to be a probe with a hooked end.
