Offered here is a German mfg. advertising pinback for the Auerhahn Ammunition Co. that made \"Black Grouse\" shotgun shells in Germany during the 1920\'s, see photo of an old Auerhahn box. The grouse depicted on the pinback looks almost identical to the logo used by the firm during this period. The pinback was acquired by my husband in the early 1980\'s and has remained in our safe ever since. The information provided here was written on old slip of paper that accompanies the pinback, see photo. Pinback measures approx. 1\" diam. and is unmarked. Tarnished like silver or silverplate. Condition as shown in pics. A authentic and seldom encountered sporting pinback!!
