Unique Americana Art hand crafted homemade piece estimated to have been made during the Gilded Age on the (wealthy & Large mansions) on the North Shore of Massachusetts. The more you look at the amazing artisan piece, the more noticeable another recessed gem, cameo, ruby , emerald, sapphire, diamond chip, it goes on and on, you see! a truly One-of-A-Kind piece of Unique Americana Art. Claylike material covers a 2 1/4 inch high double handled beanpot (was the pot from a child\'s playhouse, or used for storage of something in the kitchen & perhaps became useless after the lid broke? Who knows how a tiny Boston Beanpot estimated to be from early to mid 1800s became the base for this artisan piece.) I\'ve never seen this sized beanpot, of this age, with no chips on the handles. Gems, jewels, semi precious gemstones, cameos, diamond chips, minerals, metals (gold or brass) a miniature compass, enameled flowers, mother of pearl shells, buttons, emerald, aquamarines, turquoise, moonstone & other stones, plus more interesting trinket items. Some cracks (as shown in photos) in the material holding the gems & jewels some of which went missing throughout the years (were they sold? Who knows.) understandable with the age of the piece, estimated to have been made during at some during the Gilded Age and has crackling as shown in photos. Pretty amazing piece of Americana Art No One else will own!
