A Google Street View from November 2020 shows a parking garage with all of the street-level windows covered-over with plywood where Tracy-Wells building once stood. ABOUT OSBORN & LONGFELLOW: Based on our research, it appears that Osborn and Longfellow was a local drug store in Prospect, Ohio. Research revealed that Longfellow joined the firm in 1911 and departed prior to 1916.The August 1911, Vol 4, No. 4 edition of \"Bulletin of The Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Alumni Report\" reported on Page 28 that \"L. L. Longfellow, Class of \'07, has been made a member of a firm to be known as Osborn & Longfellow, doing business in Prospect, Ohio. Mr. Longfellow has been employed at Dayton, Ohio, practically ever since his graduation.\" An article in the January 6, 1916 edition of the Marysville Union County Journal reported Mr. L. L. Longfellow worked for Wolgamot\'s Drug Store (Otis M. Wolgamot, Richwood, Ohio). The September 28, 1916 edition of the Marysville Union County Journal reported \"L. L. Longfellow has resigned his position with Wolgamot\'s Drug Store and accepted a similar position at Bucyrus [Ohio].\" An article in the April 28, 1921 edition of the N.A.R.D. Journal (i.e. drug trade) quoted a \"R. L. Osborn & Son, Rexall Store, Prospect Ohio\" in one of their advertisements. We found an interesting article on Page 1 of the March 18, 1932 edition of the Xenia [Ohio] Evening Gazette. The Prospect Citizens Bank had been robbed by three men. When a bank employee tripped the hold-up alarm, Marshal Ed Fritach and H. E. Osborn, drug store proprietor, opened fire on the three men as they fled in their vehicle. ABOUT PROSPECT, OHIO: Prospect, Ohio is a small village located in Marion County, Ohio. In 1822, Christian Gast purchased 600 acres of land in what is now Prospect Township. The platted out a small village in 1835 and named it Middletown (due to the fact it was located midway between Delaware and Marion). The town\'s name was later changed to Prospect. Photographs taken during the Great 1913 Flood showed a block-long business district downtown which included numerous buildings, a hotel and outside of town, the Sulphur [sic] Springs Sanitarium. It\'s 1880 population was 600 residents; in 1910, 830 residents; in 2000, 1,181 residents called Prospect home, the largest population in the village\'s history. Ten-years later, in 2010, they had lost 79 residents and 1,112 remained. SHIPPING COSTκž‰ Your shipping cost is calculated when checking out.
