A very unique opportunity to purchase a 'never before sold' but vintage Sterling silver medal featuring St. Catherine of Siena on the front and on the back a scene with the Blessed Virgin giving the rosary to St. Dominic with St. Catherine of Siena looking on. 5 grams. 13/16 inch in diameter.   Saint Catherine of Siena is the patron of journalists, media and nursing. From the unsold inventory of The Catholic Art Store in business from 1906 to 1962 in San Francisco specializing in imported Sterling and silver medals and medallions from France.  This medal is actually an antique and is between 60 and 113 years old.  It has never been owned or worn by anyone.
