For your consideration is this stunning 1920\'s to 1940\'s Pennsylvania Probation Officer / County Court Badge in Sterling Silver and 14k Gold. The badge is obsolete, and is conforms to \'s policy on antique badges. This badge hasn\'t been used in approximately 100 years, and it may be unique - likely jeweler made. The base is made of Sterling and measures 37mm. The inner/upper portion has been tested (and is guaranteed to be) 14k Solid Gold or better. The inner gold disc measures 25.5mm so it\'s larger than a U.S. quarter. It\'s also relatively thick too. I don\'t know how much the gold disc weighs; not without separating it and potentially ruining this beautiful badge, but estimate it weighs between 7 and 10 grams, or at least a quarter ounce.
