Rare Augustus Peabody Gardner hand signed social invitation, bill proposal lot.This is a rare look into some of Augustus Peabody Gardner\'s life work. Gardner was a Representative from Massachusetts from 1902-1917. This lot includes a hand signed social gathering invitation signed by Mr. Gardner, a handout copy of his bill proposal before Congress, and the directions given to it\'s guests to attend the gathering. Very unique look into some of his life\'s works during his political career. Gardner was a Republican from the 6th district, served in the US Army 1898/ 1917-1918. He was a Captain and assistant Adjutant General Colonel, Major. He belonged to the 31st division 121st regiment US infantry. Augustus fought in the Spanish American War, Battle of Coamo, and WWI, obviously a highly decorated member of the US military.If you collect US military memoroblia or political paperwork this would be a great addition to any collection.
