Posable 1969 Monkey Toy HTF Cardinal Fantasy Toys Vintage Collectible w/ 2 Tags For Sale

Hard to find monkey from Fantasy Toy, Cardinal Teen Toys, Jamaica, NY. Made in Japan and dated 1969. Approximately 6-1/2\" L. Sawdust and kapok body with poseable wired arms and legs. The soft clothing appears to be a brushed cotton flannel with felt adornments. Offering as an adult collectible and not as a plaything for very young children.I bought and have personally owned this since 1969 when I was in my early 20\'s.Includes the original plastic loop for hanging. It has the original satin maker\'s label attached to the side and the original Fantasy Toy paper hangtag. On the inside of the right leg there appears to be a remnant of a tag (see 2nd and 3rd photos). It\'s been so many years since I bought this so I can\'t recall what that might have been; maybe a price tag.Please see the item specifics and paragraph below for more details.
The wired appendages work well. Arms and legs can be posed. It can be displayed seated. It cannot stand independently and would need propping up.There is no offensive or musty odor.Never played with; merely displayed in a cabinet.There are darkened areas on the hands and feet from age as seen in the photos. I have never seen these monkeys without that darkening. Condition overall is very good.Always kept in the living quarters of my no smoking no pet home and never in an attic or basement.You will receive the exact item in the photos.
