This hard to find card features "State Bank Building, Norwich, Kan." which is in Kingman County KS. I took a walk along Google Maps and found this building at the corner of Main and West 1st St. At the time of the image, it looks like the building was undergoing renovation work with fake stone siding, so it may not appear as this brick building any longer. The message is interesting too! "Thurs noon: We got through sowing wheat this forenoon, are going down to Will's this afternoon and help him finish. Wheat is worth 94 cents now. We are having fine weather. George"
Great early piece of Kansas history! The card was sent from George to Miss Emma Hodgman in Bloomingdale Michigan.Posted.
