NOS NASA TRW CHANDRA XRAY OBSERVATORY LOT 4-KODAK RAYTHEON BALL PAPER MODEL KITS For Sale

This recent find is from the Estate of a Retired NASA Aerospace Engineer who worked on Apollo through Space Shuttle Missions. He served as Project and Deputy Managers over multiple key programs including the Hubble Space Telescope receiving multiple Exceptional and Leadership Service Medals with one being for the Lunar Rover Vehicle/Skylab and THE SILVER SNOOPY for CHANDRA/AXAF/HUBBLE before Retiring in 1999 but staying on in a NASA Advisory position through 2009. This listing is for a 1999 Set of 4 NASA TRW (KODAK/RAYTHEON/BALL) CHANDRA X-RAY OBSERVATORY PAPER MODEL KITS - SCALE 1:40. Each kit contains 4 sheets of items to punch out to build the model (pictures 1 and 7 show the four pages contained in each kit). Kits arein Excellent overall condition with only minor aging and storage wear - these are all NEW - 3 of 4 are SEALED, NEW and NEVER OPENED. One of the kits the glue along the top was loose so I used it to open and show the contents (this Kit is NEW and Never used - only removed to show contents). The kit that was opened has some aging (see pictures 22 and 23 as example). The bottom two kits in picture 2 have a sheet of rice paper over the back side (they are NOT faded, just the original rice paper used to separate kits). Kits are approximately 17\"L x 11\"W.
