METALCRAFT ART PRODUCTS CO. ~ Solid Hand Wrought Copper \"BRONC RIDER\" Bookends ~ LA, CA

Description of item...Here we have an outstanding and not easily found,pair of old hand wrought solid copper \"BRONC RIDING\" BOOKENDS made by the Metalcraft Art Products Company of Los Angeles, CA., circa 1930\'s. [NOTE: Research indicatesthat this company was only in existence for a few years before being wiped out by the Great Depression.]Eachmeasures approx. 5\" high x 4-1/2\" mid wide x 1-7/8\" deep. Both are in good to very good maintained (bookshelf used/displayed) condition with no chips or cracks, no major damage noted, although they have not been cleaned or polished since acquired...only lightly dusted. (Both show a dark and aged copper patina.)One bookend bottom has it\'s original back, green felt bottom protector and original foil sticker which faintly/partially reads, \"HAND WROUGHT ~ SOLID COPPER ~ METALCRAFT ART PRODUCTS CO. ~ LOS ANGELES, CALIF\" and the other bookend is without its back, green felt protector and sticker.Came from a private home collection of many years, however the exact ages are unknown, circa 1920-30\'s. These items weigh approx. 6-1/2 lbs., add 2 lbs. or so for the packing box and packing material. I combine shipping when safe and practical for all items purchased.
