Blade is marked KERSHAW OREGON USA and 1050 JAPAN, indicating this is from the very first production run(s) of 1979-1981.Blade contour is very worn from decades of use and sharpening. Sheath leather is in good condition but does need restitching, especially to be able to use the belt strap. Brass and phenolic of scales has patina reflecting the age but no major chips, dents, or deep scratches. Blade still opens, closes, and locks as tight as it did when it was new-- it\'s clear why these knives are so popular.
