I'm an artist. This post mortem baby reborn doll was created to test my boundaries as an artist. I lost some followers along the way. It does not offend me in the least as it's an art form. Some will appreciate the beauty of this. Some may not.

I'm sorry to those it offends, but I'm an artist, and if I'm not making waves, it means I'm not swimming.

Dies April 17th 1822

Weighing in at 4lbs.  Persephone is Victorian Post Moretm Baby #2 in an ongoing series I will be creating.  She's a preemie 16" Cammie Kit with her COA.

This is a niche for a Victorian Post Mortem collector and may be offensive to those who don't appreciate this. Please scroll by my listing if you cannot appreciate the beauty of this work. Her casket was made by me as well. Its not perfect, but it's perfect for her! I added an amazing plex viewing window to replicate turn of the century caskets. The casket lid doesn't shut fully flat, I was going to add a latch but I loved how the baby spoke to millions of moms who have lost their babies.

"I'm not yet ready for closure."

So the casket won't include a latch to fully shut it closed.

Baby has vinyl limbs and a cloth body stuffed with poly and glass beads. She's so precious you won't want to disturb her in her final resting place.

This work was done with the utmost respect for Victorian Post Mortem.. I hope you love Persephone as much as I did creating her. She's a work of art with fine details the camera couldn't pick up, but her collector will appreciate immensely

Her dress was made using tulle. She wears an outfit underneath but her white tulle dress isn't meant for removal. This baby is for display purposes. And whomever brings her home will fall in love with her everlasting beauty.
