This offer is for a Mid-Century Calendar for the month of January 1965 for UNITED AIRLINES w/ a Stunning Bright & Vivid MILLARD SHEETS Print of Waikiki Beach in Honolulu, Hawaii (painted for United Airlines). The actual measurementof the print is approx. 10" x 13.5" without the borders (would look amazing Framed). The overall size is approx. 16" x 24".
On the reverse side is a Recipe for Kirshhwasser Torte (Cherry Brandy Torte) for February by Chef Dubacher who began his culinary career in 1937 in United's first Flight Kitchen in Oakland. He also supervised the opening of United's Flight Kitchen at JFK and became the executivechef there.
The overall condition is very good...and the only issue is some written notations (don't know if it pen or pencil) on some of the dates and it was folded in half...so it has a crease that could easily be ironed out
