Joy was born in 1919, and passed away in 2012. She perfected her mother's pioneering work in white Hopi pottery, and created a beautiful tradition that lasts to this day. Measuring 5 inches in diameter and 4 inches tall, it was created around 1980, andthe understated design is simultaneouslytraditional and contemporary. Thefine lines are done with laser-like accuracy, and the vessel form is in superbcondition. The Frog Woman signature is a work of art all by itself.
