German Captured M1866 Chassepot Bayonet measuring 27.5" overall with a blade length of 22.75" and with a inside socket diameter of .700". Blade shows much original finish with some scattered pitting/rust spots. Excellent working press-stud, Guard is stamped with serial no's. Ricasso stamped with Alex Coppel German maker with scales cartouche. Comes with Scabbard, also show some rust spots, Back has German Infantry markings, looks like, "110.L.U. 3.40.", top of blade/spine shows no markings. See photos.
