Up for your viewing enjoyment is this stunning Italian porcelain jar/vessel complete with elaborately detailed lid. This is a large piece that measures 14" tall and is 8" across. This was made with great attention to detail (see pics). The figural lid is perfect with NO chips or cracks and has a stunning relief design. The gold guilting is in excellent shape around the rim and through out the piece. The piece is marked "Made in Italy" and it also appears to be signed (see pics). I do not know the maker and would be delighted with any insight you may have as to the age and maker of this piece. There is one tiny nick in the glaze towards the top of the jar that I tried to show in pic 9. It might just be an imperfection as the rest of this piece is stellar.
