I am offering for sale this Fine Primitive Signed J. Kipp Cooper/Carriage Maker Draw Knife 4-1/2\" x 1-3/8\" Inv#BR70 I believe this tool relates to the Carriage Making or Coopers trade. It has a 4-1/2\" cutting edge and measures overall: 14-1/4\" L . The has some iron is in good shape with some pitting and rust but it has been cleaned off and waxed to preserve. I would suggest sharpening. The original tang handles measure: 5\" L, One has a nick and the other a hairline but they are both tight and secure, no wiggles and they have a great feel and patina.(see photos) This is a really unique hard-to-find size Carriage Makers Knife to use or add to your Cooper tool collection.... This was plucked out of a collectors workshop this week along with many other great Cooper and Carriage Maker tools that I am listing now. FOLLOW ME!!!
