An elegant pair of (2) antique E.F. Caldwell (1851-1914) silverplate candlesticks. Feature George III manner with flattened channeled column-form stem and tiered diamond base. Measure approx. 8.5"h x 6"l x 3.25"w. In fair antique condition, displaying general wear consistent with use/age, including some wax/residue, tarnish, spots of plating loss, light surface scratches, and tiny nicks/dings throughout, one candlestick is also lacking its bobeche - see pictures. Both are engraved on their base side "E.F. Caldwell & Co., Inc., New York."
