Duck Tails Scrooge McDuck Production Cel For Sale

This is an original painting actually used in the Walt Disney Television Series “DUCK TALES.” It is accompanied by original sketches from the artist’s pad.

For each tiny movement of a character in a Disney animated television show, a cel painting must be made. These cel paintings are individually photographed over master backgrounds, producing a succession of pictures which, when projected one after another, create the illusion of motion. The resultant animated film is then transferred to videotape for television broadcast.

"DUCK TALES" is a comedy/adventure series about the exploits of Scrooge McDuck. Scrooge is joined on his exotic jaunts by nephews Huey, Dewey and Louie, housekeeper Mrs. Beakley and her granddaughter Webby, wacky inventor Gyro Gearloose and intrepid pilot Launchpad McQuack. Scrooge's enemies . . Flintheart Glomgold (world's second-richest duck), slinky sorceress Magica De Spell and those clumsy crooks, the Beagle Boys. . try their darnedest, but fail to foil Scrooge's search for high adventure and big bucks.

"DUCK TALES" was the premier syndicated animation television series from The Walt Disney Studios. It made its debut September 18, 1987 on television stations across the country.
