This is a genuine, authentic, kodak-made lenticular. This was sold only at the holiday event at Disneyland in 2002/2003 I can’t remember which. Only 150 were made NOT sold as several came damaged and were destroyed.
There have only ever been 4 official haunted mansion lenticulars of this size and magnitude made available to the public over the years. First from the 1999 event they made the ghost ship, then this haunted mansion print, and two nightmare before christmas ones Oogie Boogie and Jack Skellington.
Kodak printed ALL of Disney\'s lenticulars until 2005 ish, when they officially stopped making lenticular a at all.
This piece is an official AUTHENTIC Kodak-made lenticular, and there is nothing out there that matches this quality! The changing effect is so much cleaner and obvious when compared to any of the Fan made copies floating on the internet.
The image quality is beyond anything I’ve ever seen, it’s exactly like at the haunted mansion ride. So amazing.
This has never been hung and was only removed from the original shipping box and foam to take these images. It has never been removed from the plastic. You may never find one in this brand new condition ever again.
The wire used to hang the piece is very distinct, and the frame style is very unique while you can find them with different tints, ALL lenticulars since 2000 have all come in this one style-so it\'s very easy to tell that this is genuine and not a cheap knock off.
The certificate of authenticity was not shipped with the piece and was a simple printed piece of paper that was given at time of purchase and has since been lost. My aunt was the original owner of this piece and purchased it from Disneyland direct. The original shipping label, showing it was shipped from Disneyland is still on the box
