Phillips had an exciting career prior to and during World War I. He headed up peacekeeping forces in Greece and Albania, and commanded the Paris area. This is three original documents: his military memorial (one small worm hole), his 1922 certificate of an Italian award, and his 1894 Knights of Malta certificate. The latter two certificates are folded.
