Beautiful 1957 Singer Sewing Machine 201k 201 Tan Aluminum Body Fully Tested For Sale

Excellent 1957 Singer sewing machine model 201k serial number EM 370466.

This lovely machine made in Great Britain and constructed of all aluminum sews a great stitch! The tan color and newer style to this 201k shows Singers efforts to update and innovate. I think they produced a superb sewing machine.

The 201 is widely regarded as the best straight stitch sewing machine ever and runs super smooth with its full rotating hook mechanism and drop in bobbins.

We threaded it up and sewed all the stitches in my sample and it sewed beautifully, smooth strong and fast!

We tested all functions, bobbin winder, stitch length, reverse stitch, tensioner, light  and all is in perfect working order.

Comes with 5 bobbins, 4 are brand new old stock , original pedal controller and power cord with perfect like new wiring, some attachments and presser feet, original button holer in case with manual, and some new needles.

Condition is excellent, mechanically it runs fast and smooth and sews beautifully. The tan paint is shiny and  in very nice condition with some pre use pin marks on the bed and small rub area on the very edge sewing side. Mechanicals are in superb clean condition and underneath looks like new. Machine has been lubed and runs perfectly.
