PLEASE NOTE; The gas pumps are packed separately and use a drop of glue to hold in place. I\'m sure you will put them in a little straighter than I did on my display.

Your valuable collectible is well packed,protected and in great shape. This item comes in original box with very minor wear from being in aretail storeroom warehouse - still great for gift-giving! From the box: \"When the first model T rolled off the assembly line, American life rolled off in a whole new direction. In fact, it changed the American way of life forever. Gas stations sprung up on the newly paved highways: not the sterile, impersonal self-service station we have today. In those halcyon days (when the service station attendant not only filled the tank, but washed your windshield, checked your oil and put air in your tires), each station was an architectural marvel. In addition to filling your tank, these bygone stations were also rest stops where you could enjoy a cold drink on a hot summer\'s day or a good cup of coffee to wake you up. The friendly proprietor would provide, at no extra charge, directions and a road map when it seemed that you were hopelessly lost. This was a simpler time in America, but nonetheless exciting. Just four little words, \"Let\'s take a ride,\" brought an enthusiastic \"Let\'s go!\" from the entire family. So come on, let\'s take a ride. Join the adventure of traveling along Roadside, USA!\"

This general store has all the charm and nostalgia of your friendly neighborhood one-stop shop. Based on an actual business in Findlay, Ohio, around 1913, this store has a beautiful rustic image, from the deep green wooden siding to the rusty tin roof. The store is two stories with a wide wooden awning over the porch. Signs to either side of the door beckon to passing motorists and pedestrians: \"OPEN 24 HOURS OLD GOLD GOOD FOOD & GAS - REST ROOMS - OLD MAN MILAGE RECOMMENDS REPUBLIC TIRES - GOOD FOOD/CANDIES/SODA POP/FEED/SNUFF/HOT COFFEE/FUDGE/BAIT\", just to name a few. Two red gas pumps wait outside, with brilliant white globes on top. From the rough timbers holding up the awning to the big stone foundation, from the weathered look of the wooden siding to the crooked signs, this rustic general store and gas station has incredible detail and heartwarming charm.
