They grew to become a huge international company , owning 90 landfills at one time.  They operated in 10 countries and were the first waste hauler to be listed on the New York Stock Exchange.  They had 26,000 employees with $3 billion in sales. They were bought out (defunct) in 1999.  This is a rare belt buckle depicting a Caterpillar pushing waste in a landfill.
