Authentic 19th C. Kashmiri Paisley Shawl Hand Embroidered VV580 For Sale

An exceptional piece from approximately 1825, it has been ornately embroidered in traditional paisley design on a red/orange ground, with a black center.The stitching gives it a unique 3-dimensional quality.The black in the center has been replaced very professionally (see photo).

The condition is excellent for its age.It has some light fraying along the outside edges (see photos).We note one small hole.
