This is an antique Japanese Kutani sleeping cat called Nemuri Neko that measures 7 inches long. Entirely hand painted with fine details on its whiskers and eyebrows and Moriage dots on its persimmon red collar. It is very heavy for its size weighing 1 pound 8 ounces before packaging and it has a small kiln hole relative to its size.

The condition is very good with no chips, cracks or repairs. Its age is from the Meiji-Taisho era (circa 1910-1920).
