Antique Silverplate Figural, Dogs Taking Down Mountain Lion. Fight To The Death. For Sale

This ultra RARE antique silverplate table figurine depicts a dramatic scene of three dogs battling against a mountain lion. One dead , one injured and one chasing down and biting the big cat. This grotesque hunting scene shows the aftermath of one of the dogs lying on the ground, mauled and deceased. The details of this ooak piece showcase the artist's talent in capturing the moment of this brutal battle to the death fight scene. The piece is made of silverplate alloy.

The head of the big cat is removable and reveals some sort of flask. Very unusual piece. I have never seen another like it. If you're a collector of these types of figures, then this is the one you will want. This piece is very detailed and intricate, even the teeth and toes. Teeth are very sharp.

The piece is very old and, like all old things, it has a little age related wear shown in the last two photos but nothing too bad. The figure has a couple of small cracks to the edge of the base, which is very thin. The other thing to mention is a small casting flaw to the big cats arm.
