Antique Clay/Composition Belsnickle Santa Ride Felt German Donkey Harness/Saddle For Sale

Up for sale is an Antique Clay/Composition German Belsnickle Santa in a Red Suit Holding Paper Branch in his Hand Riding a Paper Mache Felt Covered Donkey w/ Saddle & Harness. Santa is approx 4-3/4” Seated from Tip of his Hood to his Black Boots. The Donkey is in good condition and is of German origin but is unmarked. The Felt is in Good Condition as well as his harness with normal wear from age. The Donkey has glass or plastic eyes. The Donkey is Approx 4-1/2”long to the tail and approx 4” tall to the ear. The donkey had a piece of felt torn bear his hoof that was reglued. The Santa has a Painted face with and Leather Beard and Mustache-most of the rabbit fur has worn away. The Santa wears a Red Felt Suit with Snow painted on the Suit with Cream Trim and he has a hole in one hand but is missing the sprig branch. Santa’s arms and legs are wired and bend.
