AUTHENTIC VTG ITALIAN FLAT SHEET & 2 PILLOW SHAMS SEE DESCRIPTION FOR PROVENANCE For Sale

PROVENANCE:
In 1945, my mother was living in Italy, having been born there in 1923.
Being a young girl of 22 years of age, she had her eye on this beautiful set of linens. She worked hard at her job in a restaurant and saved up her money to purchase these to add to her 'hope chest', as young women did back then. In 1952, she married and moved to the United States, bringing these linens with her. They were always a source of joy for her, but she never had the opportunity to use them. They have been carefully stored in a box all these years and since my mother has passed away, I know she would be very happy to have someone who would enjoy them and appreciate them as much as she did. This flat sheet and both pillow shams have never been used or laundered. They still retain the original crispness that they had when she purchased them many years ago. I've endeavored to take good photos of the design, please zoom in to see the intricate needlework associated with these heirloom pieces. I would rate the condition of all three pieces as excellent, with only VERY minor discoloration associated with aging. The measurement of the flat sheet is 100" Length by 92" Width, it would fit a queen size bed easily.The pillow shams measure 32" Length by 22" Width and would fit Standard to Queen size bed pillows.
