5 1888 Sydney Telegraphs from Boomanoomana Station Owner to Sheep Businessman For Sale

These 5 1888 telegraphs from Sydney are a rare find for collectors of antique correspondence. Sent by William Hay, owner of the Boomanoomana Station and sheep industry notable.

It is addressed to Hon W. G. Markham, who was heavily involved in the exportation of merino sheep to Australia. He convinced Australian wool growers that introducing American merinos into the Australia flock would increase their weight, and this was very successful.
