The Hohokam peoples of Arizona existed between 200B.C. and 1450A.D., and were known as the "canal builders" for their superior farming practices. They were also skilled artisans, creating intricate pottery and woven baskets. The Hohokam Basket Horse represents this unique design and complex crafting, with shots of blue, representing the Hohokam's advanced irrigation techniques, dividing the stylized farm fields.
