Tyrone Edmund Power was an American Film star from the 1930's to the 1950's. Power appeared in dozens of films often in swashbuckler roles or romantic leads. His better known films were, Jesse James, The Mark of Zorro, Marie Antoinette, Blood and Sand, The Black Swan, Prince of Foxes, Witness for the Prosecution, The Black Rose and Captain from Castile, Tyrone Power's own most favorite film was, Nightmare Alley. Photo # 14 shows Registration activities . Photo # 15 shows the Junior Senior Prom Kathrine Seberg was the Junior Senior Prom Queen, Kathrine was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority. The band for the Junior Senior Prom was the George Robert Crosby, band the Bob Cats. Maestro Bob Crosby was the younger brother of famed singer and actor, Bing Crosby. On TV , Bob Crosby guest starred in the Gisele MacKenzie Show. Maestro Bob Crosby can be seen signing autographs for the crowd. It looks like even the local NBC news station was there. Photo # 16 shows the Matrix Table with Elaine Kollins giving a very admiring look to the Guest of Honor, Robert Ormond Case. a well known Western Story writer, Elaine Kollins was the President of Theta Sigma Phi, which is an journalist honor society and they always sponsor the Matrix Banquet. Photo # 17 shows the Members of Theta Sigma Phi in 1941. Elaine Kollins is in the top row, 2nd from the left. Robert Ormond Case wrote western stories for many years for the Saturday Evening Post Magazine. Photo # 18 shows a sample of one his stories, called Wings North that was given the front page in January 1938. This photo is not in the yearbook, it is just for reference.
