This daily newspaper was a well respected agricultural periodical. Some of the more notable articles in this issue are: - Probe into the crash of the dirigible Shenandoah at Lakehurst NJ of the surviving co-captain. Captain died in the crash. - Article on first game of grid iron great RED GRANGE as a coach. - Aerial photo (not common in 1925) of Forbes Field, Pittsburgh, for the 1925 World Series Pirates vs Washington Senators. - Advertisement of BAYER aspirin that it"doesn't affect the heart". - Launching of USS Lexington "airplane carrier". - reference to WWI as the World War. - Numerous articles of a farming nature including prices of livestock and corn.
The paper was originally folded in 1/4s but has been stored in half fold.In pretty good shape for over 85 years old. Some fraying on last page bottom and light tear on quarter fold. (see close up photos)
