Lovely old hand painted gold trimmed eleven piece Japanese high relief Moriagi \"Dragonware\" tea set with Lithophane bottom cups.
Gloss glazed Oriental design;
tea pot with lid 7 1/4 inches high, 7 inches handle to spout
sugar bowl with lid 4 3/8 inches high, 5 inches across handles
creamer 3 1/8 inches high, 4 1/4 inches handle to spout
4 lithophane bottom cups 2 1/8 inches high, 2 1/2 inches diameter
4 saucers 4 3/4 inches diameter
There are some slight gaps and slight surface chips on the raised moriagi work, otherwise the set is in very good condition, not worn, no cracks, no stains, not crazed.
