A Very Nice and Rare, Old, Unusual Authentic
Russian Lacquer box.
The box depicts part of the famous painting “On the River” by artist M. Pimonenko. The work was written in the 1900s. The painting is in the National Art Museum of Ukraine, Kyiv.

Fedoskino lacquer miniature is a folk craft, a type of Russian lacquer miniature painting with oil paints on papier-mache, which developed at the end of the 18th century in the village of Fedoskino near Moscow.
